New Curtains!

So, I have been a little MIA lately. I apologize. I have had family visiting from outside the country and a few new projects up my sleeve. While we have hit up the beach and visited a few new places, we have also been redecorating. I got these awesome new blackout curtains to review.

Care Instructions: Machine Wash Cold, delicate cycle with mild detergent. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low. Cool iron if needed.

They are really good! Just look at the difference between the black ones on the left and the new red ones on the right! 

Now look at the difference in light coming from the same window with half of it open.

And the color is beautiful! I was a little worried when I ordered the red ones, but it is a deep red instead of a bright red.

I love the texture of these curtains as well, but my favorite thing about them is that they are thermal insulated. That means that it is not as hot in my home as it has been this entire summer. We did not use a curtain rod here because my bed is right next to it and I want complete darkness. If I put a curtain rod, then light would come in from the sides a bit. Yes, I'm a little OCD about my night time routine! I ordered the Red curtains because I have a painting I won on a cruise a few years ago that we have wanted to put up but did not have anything to match it with. Now There will be a theme! If you need total darkness in a room, or want to keep your house cool, I highly recommend these curtains!
